Dry Skin has been a problem for both men and women for as long as we could remember. It usually escalates during winter due to the change in the climate. Other major factors include the usage of soap that robs the skin of moisture, frequent steamy showers, ageing (not something you can prevent easily) and health & nutritional deficiencies.

There are many over the counter treatments for dry skin such as ointments and moisturizers created specifically to treat dry and irritated skin which are also quite expensive. Natural home remedies can treat dry skin and be just as effective, without the added burden of a cost.

Here are some natural elements that can keep your skin looking healthy and radiant:

Tips:

Soak a face towel or a washcloth in cold milk and place it on your dry skin for five to ten minutes. Use a towel soaked in lukewarm water to wash off all the milk. It is recommended to repeat the process three to four times a week to retain smooth dry free skin.
